Organization
-10 to 12 players
- 7 v 4 or 6 v 4 depending on numbers
-See diagram for equipment and set-up
Activity
-Attacking team has two pug nets to score on
-Defending team can only come past the transition line once of the attacking players has touched the ball
-Attacking team to create partnerships by moving off the ball and ensuring there is always a passing channel
-Attack with purpose if opposing team gives you the space (drive into the space and engage defender)
- If defending team wins the ball - need to win it back within 3 passes and transition into attack
Coaching Points
- Drive into the open space the opposition gives you
- Create a passing channel (Don't hide behind the defender).
- Decision making of when to pass and when to dribble/ensure you're not passing too early and transition the decision to one of your team mates. Play with confidence.

SSG 6 v 6 (15 mins)
Set up
- Break Pine Glen field into 2 small fields
- Break players into teams of 5 or 6 players
- One small net on each side
Activity
- Players will play a standard 5v5 game with one condition
- If a player shoots and misses, or kicks the ball out of play, they have to fetch the ball and return it to either ball stack at the half way line. While the player is retrieving the ball the other team can start an attack using a ball from either half way line stack.

- Identify space that you can attack
- Drive in to the space with purpose
- Decision making of when to pass and when to dribble

Activity
- 3v3 game with the players encouraged to create link-up plays, be creative/positive with the ball
- To score a goal all 3 players must be in the attacking half of the field

- Movement off the ball – Ensure that you are creating options for player with the ball
