5v5 End to End Rondo

Key Factors

• 3v3 in the middle, with each team having 2 extra players on the outside
• The aim of the game is to work the ball from one of your outside players to the other, you gain a point if you get from one side to the other.

Organisation

• The players on the outside may move up and down their line but but can not enter the square or move to a different side.
• If the ball goes out it starts from the player on the side it has gone out on.
• Swap the outside players every few minutes
• 15x15 yard square as standard - smaller it is the harder it is so adjust for your players

Progressions

• Introduce a rule where all 3 inside players must touch the ball before they can score a point.
  
• 1 or 2 touch
• Alter the size of the area

• Passing Mechanics
• Movement - making angles for teammates and not standing in straight lines/behind defenders.
• Transitioning when possession changes - we want to close the space when we become defenders and open it when we become attackers.
