Main Activity (20 mins)
Organization:
4 areas - 15 x 10 yd - to
form 30 x 20 yd area.
Depends on the number of players.
Instructions:
Reds are the attackers and blues are the defenders.
Reds starts with the ball and they have to try to score in small goal.
Blues are looking for press and cover, if they get the ball back they can score by dribbling or making a pass behind the red end zone.
Reds if they lose the ball they became defenders (transition)
In the end of the play all the players
After X rounds switch the groups.
Coaching Points/Questions:
When, why and how start the pressure.
Body shape of 1st and 2nd defender.
Where push the attackers,

Add another goal.
Add another attacker.

Instructions:
4vs4 + bumbers and 4 goals.
Reds and Blues can attack and defend with 2 players only.
Also the attackers can use the bumbers
The attackers gets 1 point if they score.
Defenders if the gets the ball back with press and cover shape they can get an extra points.
After 1 minutes switch with the bumbers.

at start line (centrally)
and 2 cones on the middle
line with a ball on each
cone.
Instructions:
– It’s a race.
On the coach’s command (cone 1 or 2) the 1st
player to run and jump over
the ball gets a point, if the teammate is covering.
Reds against Blurs.
Coaching Points:
Players need to identify the correct side to
pressure and get their quickly fast and slow down
Team work betwwen the 2 players .
Body shape of the 2nd players.
Approccing to press and cover.
Progressions
the 1st player to touch the ball with the hands or feet
without it falling off gets points, if the teammmate is covering.
This helps to reinforce getting
the ball quickly but slowing down on your approach.
