Main Part: (15 minutes)
Organization:
- Half the Pitch
- 1 GK or Coach
- Two groups of players on each side of the goal posts
- Every player w/ a ball
- Cones are palced approx. 8-10 yards away from the net or depending on group adjust to make is further.
Instructions:
- One player from one group with ball dribbles to the pole/cone and goes around by tunring/cutting the ball around the cone/pole
- Ideally player takes 1-touch to turn around the cone and his second touch with shot on the net
- As soon as the first player goes and takes a shot, the first player in the other group starts his run and does the same.
- Have the players stay in their original line so they get a lot or repetition off one foot and then switch them so they are working off R/L foot.
Progression :1) Have players follow-up for any rebounds.
Coaching Points:
** Encourage enthusiam and goalscoring celebrations from all players who score
- Keep ball close/tehcnique of dribbling to prepare to shoot
- Head down/eye on the ball
- Sharp/quick turn on ball
- Toe down
- Part of foot (Strike ball correctly w/ top of laces) /Part of ball (find the midle of the ball)
- Body/shoulders over the ball
- Follow through

Small Sided Game: (20 minutes)
Organization/Instructions:
- 3v3,4v4, 5v5 dpending on your numbers.
- Directional game to 1 goal
Possible variations/progressions:
- have scoring zone when attacking small goals
Coaching Points:
- Spread out (Width/Depth)
- Support around the ball
- Movement to create shooting space
- Preperation touch to shoot
- Quick decision making - Use speed or 1v1 skill

Warm-up: (15 minutes)
Objectives: To Improve the players ability to strike the ball properly at goal
Organization:
- Players pair up with a partner
- 1 ball per pair
- Have players hit the ball with laces - Ball on the Ground
- Working over 8-15 yards distance. This depends on the level of the group/players.
** Everything is to be done with laces.
Instructions:
- Players will pass back and fourth by taking 1-touch to recieve, a preperation touch to set-it up and then off their 3rd touch to pass to thier partner.
Possible variations/Progressions:
- Extend the distance a bit
- Have the players hit it and allow it to come off the ground - nothing above the waist
Coaching Points:
- Locked ankle
- Quality of preperation touch - (out of feet)
- Head-up to see target/head down to strike
- Eye on the ball/Toe down/Heel up
- Shoulders/Knee over the ball
- Part of ball (find the middle of the ball)
- Part of foot (Strike ball correctly with top of laces)
