COUNTER ATTACK CONDITIONED GAME

set up - Blue team start practice with a 3 v 1 advantage in defending half , aim try to play into 3 blue attackers in attacking half to score if possible. Blue defenders and yellow attacker must stay in their half of pitch. If yellows win ball in the other half of pitch ( 5 v 3) they can counter attack quickly into other half of pitch and any 3 players can join in to make it a 4 v 2 in attacking half of pitch.As soon as moves break down players must return to start up set up. Gk for Blues starts next attack.

Tactical / technical points - Yellows defending deep to assist with counter attack, keep compact & try to intercept at earliest opportunity. Counter attack with high intensity with option of playing into forwards feet to play off him, run at speed with ball, drag defenders in and use overload, attacking runs to confuse defenders & create space for others.
