Learning Activity: Modified Game Form
Activity Objective: Introduce and gain repetition for concepts of scanning and covering to identify passing lanes to cut off in larger numbers
Number of players/opponents: 3v3
Size/Shape of Field: Dependent on player quality and coach intentions (15x30 in Eddy - 25x30 outdoors)
Methods of Scoring: Both teams score on mini goals
Progressions:
-can add more points for pressing team for scoring off winning the ball in A 1/2
-can incentivize team in possession by allowing more points of they score from their defensive half (encouraging the ability to cut off passing lanes and/or getting good pressure on the ball from the pressing team)
Total Activity Duration: 20 minutes
Active Duration: Rest Duration 120s on/30s off (switch sides = 1 set)
Number of Sets: 3-4

Regression
-team in possession can only score on the ground and can't chip the ball in the air to score
Restarts: From coach or closest ball. Ball always start with team in possession
