Organization:
1. 30 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2. 9 players (3 groups of 3) set up as shown
3. 3 balls, extras around the outside
Instructions:
1. The activity starts with the first player dribbling out, for the first part of the activity players are dribbling with different techniques as te cross their area. (Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi)
2. The player then passes the ball to the next player in line when they are 2-3 yards from the line
3. The player who recieves the ball then repeats the activity and the exercise continues
4. Progressions: A cone is placed in the middle and the players are to perform a specified move or technique around the cone.
Coaching Points:
1. Controlled Approach
2. Move/Technique being used
3. Timing of move (outside the tackling radius of the defender)
4. Change of pace and acceleration after the move has been completed.
5. Cut behind the defender after completeing the move (close the door on the defender)
Progressions:
1. P-Players can only use their weaker foot.

Instructions:
1. The activity starts with the first attacker dribbling at the defender who is passive
2. The attacker then players to the player opposite and closes them down
3. The defener, once beaten, joins the opposite line
4. The process repeats

Organization:
1.20 x 20 yard area
2.8 players – set up as shown
3.2 balls
Instructions:
1.Players perform three actions in the this activity; the first is to beat a passive defender in the middle, the next is to make a pass diagonally to the attacking player opposite, the third is to become the next defender and press the attacking player (straight).
2.After pressing the next player replace the attacking player on the side and wait for your next attempt.
Coaching Points:
1.Positive first touch to engage the defender
2.Timing and execution of the move selected to beat the player
3.Quick next action in the pass to deny the opportunity for the defender to recover
Progressions:
P – Pressing players now become active and attempt to win the ball
R – Walk through the sequence so that players understand the order of each action

Organization:

2. Players dived into team teams
Instructions:
1. Players start on the coaches command, the first two players in line race around the cone directly opposite them, they must round the cone and make it back to their own cone
2. The coach passes the ball closer to the player who wins the race back to their cone, at this point the players are 1 v1 to goal, player can score on either one of their goals (clue are attacking the goals opposite their line, as are the white team)

3.Quick next action in the pass to deny the opportunity for the defender to recover

P-Play ball in the air, Players must control a ball from the air or a bouncing ball

Organization:
40 x 30 yard area, set up as shown
Instructions:
1. Players are divided into two teams 5 v 5 + GK's and combine to score
2. Players are not allowed to pass the ball forward
3. They are allowed to pass sideways and backward, they are permitted to shoot the ball forward
4. first team to 10 goals wins
Coaching Points:
1. Recognize 1 v 1 situations and take on an opponent
2. When your team loses possesion, try to get 'touch tight' to your opponenet
3. Observe unopposed team mates and pass to them
4. Observe open space and dribble to score
5. Positive first touch where possible
6. If the route to goal is blocked, siwth the point of attack
7. Improvisation/Creativity

Organization:
1. 30 x 30 yard area set up as shown
Each player has a ball and a partner
Instructions:
1. Players numberbered 1 or 2
2. Each round is 20 seconds in duration
3. 1's go first, they are trying to lose their shadow, the player who is the leader uses various dribbling, and turning techniques to lose their "shadow"
4. Coach will call freeze and if the "Shadow" is within 3 yards then they get a point, if the shadow is further then 3 yards the dribbler gets the point.
5. Players play eachother once, then switch partners
Coaching Points:
1. Head up to observe space, dont run into eachother, or go outside of the area
2. Use changes in direction and pace to lose the shadow.
3. Use proper technique in proper situation
