Set Up: Multiple 3v1 Rondos with Transition
7 x 7 grids. 3v1 in each grid
Organisation: Players in the centre work to win the ball. They keep their different colour bib in hand at all times.
When the central player wins the ball they give the bib to the player that lost it.
When the player who lost possession gets the bib they must go to a different grid to try and win the ball there.
This sets up the possibility of 3v2s or 3v0 and of players needing to be aware of the incoming defenders
Coaching Points:
Defender
Intensity, Hips not square-on. Body shape to isolate players. Win the ball on poor pass or touch
Attackers
Scanning for players coming into the grid, movement, directional touches, weight of pass, pass on safe side.

Set Up: Passing Drill (Lofted Pass). 30 x 20 Grid as shown with additional 2 cones in 3 m from both corners on one side.
Organisation: Player at station A plays to player at B and gets a bounce pass. Player at A then plays a lofted pass across the grid diagonally to the player at C. Player at B turns after playing their lay-off and sprints to supports the player at C from about 5-10m. Player at C controls to incoming pass and plays a bounce pass with supporting player B and then Player at C runs with the ball to station D. The same is occurring on the other side of the grid meaning that multiple passes are in play
Coaching Points:
Weighted short pass. Accurate and weighted lofted pass. First touch and second touch to pass to supporting player. Get the ball out from under your feet and drive dowen the line with the ball. Sprint to support the lofted pass. Slow at a good distance to support. Body shape to receive and play quickly
Progressions:
Start with a low driven ball to bed the drill into play
Move to a lofted pass
Play left foot only on one side and right foot only on the other for the passes

Set Up: Passing Drill - 20 x 40 grid (10 players) Manikins and players start as shown for stations A to E. 2 x mini goals to finish
Organisation: Ball starts at A to B / B to C / C to B / B to E / E to C / C to D / D to pass into goals
Progression 1 - A to C / then same follows
One player starts in front of manikin and the other stays behind and out of the way.
Coaching Points:
Weight and accuracy of pass, movement off the manikins. Reciebe back foot and take touch past the manikin. take touches forward and out of feet. Bigger forward touch at D to score next touch. Talking.
Progressions:
See above where B is a decoy at start
Change direction for both progressions

Set Up: 40 x 30 (5v5) plus 1
Organisation: A 5v5 with 1 additional player from each team on the end outside the grid. Play starts from feeder at side.
Reds keep possession and their goal is to play the ball into their player in the end zone. When that player receives they can either bounce the ball back into play or control and run the ball back into play (depending on the situation).
Once they score by playing their own player on the end line, the reds now attack the opposite end and look to play the blue player on the end line. That blue player must bounce them fairly but does not have the option to come in. Only end line players of the same colour as the player that passed to them can drive into the grid.
Coaching Points: Keep the ball moving and good ball speed. But be patient in possession and don't give it away. Move the ball the move the players and open passing spaces. Use bounce passes to move players around to open space. Look for the early forward pass to hit the end player
A good decision about when to bounce as an end player and when to drive into the grid. Scanning and good directional touches. Movement up and down the line for end line players
Progressions:
Change the space for the end line player and make it diagonal from corner to corner (between cones) to make it harder for them and easier to press.
