Set Up:

Organisation:

  • Part A: Dynamic Activation
    • Players will work within the grid doing these movements 

      • Jog, Open and Close gate, kicks, high knees, butt kicks skips
      • Coordination
        • Bounce Left and Right Hand. Then Both -> left to right hand and vice versa 
        • Toss in the air and catch 
        • Bounce into the air and catch 
        • Toss , spin , Catch
        • Spideman 
        • Toss while sitting down, get up and catch without using arms 
      • INTRODUCTION OF SET POSITION 
        • Cue is when the Coach Bounces the ball (can we maintain vision of the ball while we warm up)
        • Freeze tag game || Remain in set position when you are tagged 

  • Part B: Technical Touches
    • Players will work with two servers doing these motions left and right 
      • Two Touch, One Touch, Two handed Catch

Organisation:

  • GK must call for ball and will receive a service from the Coach, When the GK receives that service, the GK must try and knock down all their opponents cones.  The team with who knocks down all their opponents cones wins. 
    • Service (Must play before line)
      • Foot pass
      • Scoop Save
      • W Save
    • Progression:

      • The GK's can opt to reset their cone if they do not call for ball.

Game: Handball + Small Sided

Set Up:

  • As Illustrated 

Organisation:

  • 3v3 || 4v4 || 5v5 
    • Handball Rules (Cannot Enter Grey Zone)
      • If you catch the ball you cannot move more than three steps 
      • The defenders can only intercept or block the ball from the goal No one can sit in the goal
      • You can only score by rolling the ball into the net (Throw, if its unsuccessful)
    • Small Sided game Rules (Cannot Enter Grey Zone) 
      • Regular Game with no set goalkeepers 
      • You must score by knocking the small cone within the mini goal down in your opponents goal
