Start the session with a rondo warm up first 10-15 minutes. Low intensity for activation.

SSCG (Small Sided Conditioned Game)
Set Up:
-Two teams and two big goals.
-Halfway line in place
Constraint & Instructions:
-Blue team must have all players in opponent's half before they can score.
-Red team can only score following a swift counter attack and expose space left by the blue team's high defensive line.
Challenges & Questions & coaching points:
-Red Team
1- Can you defend deep and allow the blue team to have possession in their own half?
2- Must have positional discipline and stay organized and difficult to break down
3- Must look to win the ball once the blue team cross the halfway line or make a mistake such as bad touch or slow passes or clumsy play and go on the counter attack right away.
4- How many player should we commit on the counter attack while keeping in mind that the blue countering the counter-attack.
5- Look to play forward once you win the ball, wide players look to make angled and bend runs.
6- If possible, first look to score right away with long range shot if the keeper is caught too high.

1- Can you build from the back and move as a unit together into the opposition's half?
2- Can we have all players in the opponent's half before the ball enters the goal?
3- Once possession is lost, can we press immediately to regain possession?
4- Can we have players close to each other to allow for an effective press?
5- Can the keeper use a high starting position to be able to intercept the through ball if the red team is on the counter?
6- Use of short passing combination to break through the lines.
7- allow players to have freedom in the opponent's half to unbalance the defense and use their creativity to score or create goal-scoring opportunity.
8- encourage players to stay alert and aware of the moments of transition.
