If our opponents don't play to the LCB but instead play to the LB here is the set up.
The RST cuts off the passing option to the LCB and the LST again adopts the same position as before.
The RCM has to read the GK and recognised the ball is being played long, so must drop off ready to press. The CAM approaches from the side/behind to press the player on the ball and the RB must decide whether to press high or drop off, depending on the danger behind.
If the RCM is not in a position to press but the RB can then they must quickly rotate positions or the CDM fills in the RB position and the RM drops to CDM.
Again, the defence slides across and drops off/presses as required.

In our shape hopefully they will struggle to play out to the RB but if they do then the LCM and LB need to be ready to adapt and everyone must slide across quickly!

LCB
If they play out from the back we set up to expose their LCB/LB.
Our LST cuts off the RCB and the RST holds the middle of the penalty area but drops off, ready to press the LCB.
We leave the LCB and LB "free" to encourage them to play out that side.
Once the ball is played the CAM and RST must press the LCB. The LST then moves to the centre of the box ready for us to pass to if we regain.
The RM slides across to try to intercept if the ball is played to the LB.
The remainder of the team must slide across to cut off short passing options and apply maximum pressure. The defence must recognise if we have not put on an effective press they must drop immediately to stop the ball in behind.
