Possession - Skill Intro (10 mins)

12 players in a circle.

One player starts in the middle. The ball starts with a player on the outside and passes to the player in the middle and follows their pass, the player in the middle passes to the outside player to the left of the passer and follows their pass. The player in the middle is rotated with every pass.

Progression, introduce two balls on opposite sides of the circle.

Possession - Skill Training (20 mins)

6v6 or 7v7

2 x 15x15m areas, 4 goals.

One team per area.

One team starts off with the ball in their area, two defenders from the other team come over to try and win the ball. The team in possession must try to string 5 passes together before they can score in one of their goals. If the defenders win the ball they can pass back to their area and they become the team in possession, two defenders from the new defensive team go over.
