2 players will begin in the middle and the other 4 will try to position themselves in between the cones on the outside.

2v1 through sections
Duration: 20 minutes
Set up a rectangle grid that is 30 yards long and 10 yards wide. Place poles to create a smaller grid that is 2 yards by 10 yards at the 8 yard mark of the bigger grid. The smaller grids should begin at the 8 yard mark and the 18 yard mark. Place a defender in the grid that is 8 yards by 10 yards and have the smaller grid behind them. Then place a gate at the end of the 30 x10 yard grid. The lines will begin across from the gate.
1. 2 players at the beginning of the grid will have to move the ball past the 1st defender and into the smaller grid behind them.
2.Once they enter the smaller grid behind them, they can reset and begin moving through the next defender.
3.The attackers must make it through each of the grids and pass through the gate at the end in order to complete the drill.
4.Defenders will need to gain possession or push the attackers out of the grid in order to make the attackers go back to the beginning of the grid.
Attack Focus: Players must constantly move for their player and try to keep the angles i their passing lanes. They should focus on keeping the ball moving and working as quickly as possible to get through the defender.
Defender Focus: Defender must cut off the passing lanes for the attackers. Don't over commit and create opportunities. They should try to contain the players instead of trying to win the ball.
Progression:
1. Attackers can only use 2 touches before they need to pass the ball.
2. Attackers can only use 1 touch in the grids.
3. Time each set of two attackers to see who can get through the grid the quickest and make it a competition.
