Instructions:
- 3v3 game, each team has one feeder
- When the balls leaves play a new ball is played in from the feeder who is resting from behind the goal - Feeder cannot play to the GK and must play into the game.
- If you score then you keep possession.
- Play for 90 seconds and then switch roles.
- Play 6 rounds and keep a continuous score.
Coaching Points:
- Speed of thought upon ball leaving play (transition)
- Angles to receive, open body shape
- Awareness of surroundings
- Passing options of feeder (most dangerous pass first)
- Third player movements as ball travels (2 options, what's next)
- Finish, Create chance for yourself, or create chance with a pass
Defending Team:
- Protect the Goal
- Move feet when 1v1 defending - don't dive in and sell yourself
- Stay on feet
