Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Conditioned Game - Ballon d'Or

Conditioned Game (30 mins)

Organization:

Field roughly 30x20 yardsDivided into thirdsUse the best (Most noticeable) ball available as the Ballon d'Or. This will be the only ball that can be scored with. 4v4Attacking team (white) starts with and shares the Ballon d'Or. The extra balls are placed anywhere around the field.Defending team (blue) - every player has a ball.

Instructions:

Attacking team (white)Can only advance through the thirds by dribbling (No passing penetration)Can only score in their final third using the Ballon d'OrDefending team (blue)Defends by hitting the opposition's ball carrier below the knees (Or hitting the Ballon d'Or itself) with one of their soccer balls.If this happens...Blue is now attacking and white is defending.The white player who lost possession must leave the Ballon d'Or and take the ball that they were just struck with. Once they have this new ball they can try to hit the blue player back and reclaim the Ballon d'Or. Meanwhile, the rest of the white team is running to the outside of the field to get their own soccer balls so that they can help defend.The blue player who just won the Ballon d'Or can take it right away and try to score. Meanwhile their teammates must dribble their soccer balls outside of the area, leave them and can then join their teammate to support the attack.

Attacking team can score by dribbling across the end-line (1 pt) scoring in pugg is bonus points
