BREAKING LINES ATTACKING SSG (15 mins)

TOPIC: YOUR TOPIC IS PASSING

PRICIPLE: BREAKING LINES

DRILL: 6V6 SSG but there are channels for the attacking team to use, players must not stand in channels but arrive on touch or dribble in. Attacking team is locked into channels and no defenders are allowed in, however they can dribble out if no options are available.

CHALLENGES: Can we draw players in to break a line , use channels to advantage, if you have space, use it, make a defender step out.

EASIER: Add a +1 on attacking team or keep a player locked in channel to offer width and potential depth.

 TIMINGS: 5mins x2 blocks / 2min rest

 DIMENSIONS: 35x35m

BREAKING LINES DEFENDING SSG (15 mins)

TOPIC: YOUR TOPIC IS PASSING

PRICIPLE: BREAKING LINES

DRILL: Blue are the attacking team, they are trying to play out and work towards three of the goals (central or two cones where they must dibble through). Every blue has to be in their own half when the first ball is played, this encourages red to stay high and squeeze space. Balls always start from attacking team.

CHALLENGES: Keep blues wide and stay goal side, if we can pinch it, lets score.

EASIER: Attackers can only score in central goal.

 TIMINGS: 5mins x2 blocks / 2min rest

 DIMENSIONS: 35x35m
