Football/Soccer Session (Beginner): U.K. Petite Clinic

Warm Up:

SAQ Warm Up:

set up 30 x 30 with 4 corners and SAQ square in middle. players have own car and drive around soccer city playing traffic lights.

players must then visit pit stops for speed points, whoever gets most wins.

progress to visiting spot, and then driving to the SAQ to perform movement.

Tag Warm Up:

Car tag - players drive car and tag other cars/policemen tries to capture cars who must hulahoop

hoop tag - players are tagged they must leave hoop and either go under/over/through/round

walrus tag - walrus tag players who become walrus

spider tag - players must through pinnies at players as spider web, spidermen must swing, other players must crawl when captured

crazy cat tag - crazy dog chases crazy cat who then stands on all four and another cat must crawl under

pelican tag - players stand on leg with zoo keeper trying to knock them off

skill:

Lighting McQueen:

players must drive car as fast as they can from one pit stop to the other, first player wins.

Add a race car

Add objects to avoid

add friends to pick up

add police car

small sided:

1 on 1:

shadow - player follows coach and on freeze if they can touch they get a point. no ball/ball.

body parts - on command player must stop ball and place body part on ball

follow the leader - as above/add any type of body movement or sport with ball

copy cat - copy the leader with or without the ball

marbles - players try to hit each others ball

pokemon - player dribbles ball around and tries to catch other player - must hit them and turn into pokeball

dish and dome - turn cones upside down or vice versa in a race

squish the squid - 2 cones set 6 yards apart to make a gate - player dribble ball and stop the ball on cone, other player tries to stop them by putting foot there

end zone - set up 2 corners opposite each other with pinnies tucked in shorts, coach must run from one zone to the other without losing pinnies, cannot be tagged in safe zone. players try to pull pinnies out.
