(4) CM switches to RM who dribbles down the line and (5) delivers a cross whilst remaining players make movements to receive & finish passed the GK. Vary direction of play.
Progressions
Introduce a defender or two in the box.
Add an additional element - After 4th pass, CF shuffles across and plays a one-two with RM before making the movement into the box.

Create a pitch with a wide channel sectioned off on both sides with teams of 5v5 or 7v7. Lock wide players into the channels and ensure the emphasis is on combining to switch the play by offering 2 goals if a goal is scored after entering both channels. Looking for wide players to beat their defender through movement off the ball rather than a 1v1.

Warm Up (10 mins)
In an area, create small receiving squares in each corner. Split teams into 5’s if possible (10/15/20) & put a player in each square plus 2 players in the square where the ball begins. Players to pass to team mates in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction & follow pass. Player receiving opens out & passes to team mate in next square.
Looking for max two touches, three if the player really needs to, four is too many.
Progression
Place more than one team in the same area and get them to move the ball around in opposite directions. This creates more obstacles and distractions for the players to think about.
Introduce players into the central area who can play a quick one-two with outside players before passing to the next corner.
