Specific - In possession - Creating and exploiting overloads
Organisation / Area Size
3/4 Pitch with area tapered from the halfway line, I will leave the flat cones for the vertical zones down as a referance for the attacking players in the SSG.
Allow the players to play free for the first 2 minutes, giving concurrent feedback where needed.
I will look for three inteventions when the game allows around minutes 4, 8 and 12. Looking to give the players details of different options in attack.
Play direct and quick central overload against the center backs
Create overload one side to exploit the other
Full backs to come in, in the build up play to help exploit the central area.
Interventions Concurrent; Walkthrough; Terminal; Coaching process
Attacking team will be set up as a goalkeeper, centerback, two fulbacks, deeplying midfielder, two wingers number 10 and number 9 (I will remove a center back and deeplying midfielder for the practice, Defending team will be set up as a goalkeeper, back four, twin deeplying mdfielders, mumber 10 and number 9 (Wingers have been reomved for the practice)
Challenges for attacking team - Be brave with the overload/ numerical advantage; Be creative in how to manipulate the defense; encourage players to come up with their own solutions; guide the players using different intevention stratagies;
Conditions - potentially limit touches/ time on ball for the attacking full backs; limit defending team touches /time to score depending on their approach
Manage the defending team to press quickly; protect the middle; leave the furthest player free;
Key Points in possession - Find the spare player; exploit the numerical advantage; Fast passes and forward movement to create; angle of pass; overlap/underlap; weight and accuracy of final pass.

Organisation / Area Size
Half pitch, Split into three vertical zones. The two side zone will be approx the width of the touchline to the edge of the penalty area. There will be two mini goals on the half way line in both wide zones.
Attacking team set up with a center back (server, locked in cental zone on the otherside of the half way line) holding midfielder, two fullbacks, two wingers a number 10 and a number 9. Defending team will have a goalkeeper, a back four, two holding midfielders and a number 10.
Play starts from the server who playes into either full back or the center midfield player. Play is to create either a 2v1 or 3v2 overload in wide areas or a 4v3 overload in the central area.
Game to be split into 2 x 4 minute blocks with terminal feed back given in the middle.
In the first block concurrent feedback given to players. (If needed could include the coaching process but would depend on how the practice progresses. Terminal feedback to be given to wide players re overlapping, underlapping and stretching the opposition.
