Every player has a ball at their feet, practice turning/1v1 techniques such as;
- Outside step over/fake shot to turn away with outside foot
- Inside step over to turn away with inside/outside foot
- Flip Flap
- Cruyff turn
- Ronaldo Chop
Coaching points:
- Good technique/motion crucial before adding in speed/tempo
- When performing a turning/1v1 technique, can the player use a burst of speed to get into space within the playing area
- Can players dummy/feignt their intended change of direction. It's not just about the feet
- Make area bigger/smaller to increase success/difficulty
- Are players aware of their surroundings? It's an unopposed drill but there are lots of obstacles to avoid still

Setup as shown, split the playing area into 2 pitches, 4 goals per pitch.
Red markers split the pitch in two.
Blue markers show the scoring zone, players can only score if they shoot once they're in this area, players only score in the two goals facing them.
Coach plays the ball into the playing area and one player from each team runs in, 1v1 to score. Put a time limit on each turn.
Coaching Points;
- Speed, concentration and first touch key
- Challenge players to get the ball into the shooting zone with minimal touches,
- Defending principles important, stance, positioning, pressure etc

- Toe taps
- Brazilian toe taps
- Bells
- Bells with Ronaldo chop
- Push pulls
- Double step overs (static ball)
