Objective: To technically prepare the players for the session ahead, with a focus on counter pressing.
Organization: 15x15, 8 players, 3 white, 5 red.
Conditions of play: Red team objective to keep possession, 10 passes is a point, if the white team win possession and complete 5 passes, they get to become reds and switch out. When red lose possession, all the reds can come inside and counter press in a 3v5 aiming to recover the ball without the ball going out of play.

Objective: To create goalscoring opportunities in wide areas, while effectively reacting to a transition in possession.
Organization: 65Wx45L (5 yard end zone), 15 players.
Conditions of play: Red team are trying to score on goal, white team must dribble into the end zone to score a point. Normal soccer rules apply otherwise. Red player (6) can't exit the end zone and can block, prevent any white player entering along with assisting in building out.
Restarts: Restarts are from the deepest red (6) in the end zone, the coach playing the ball into the WB or the 9/11.

Objective: To create realistic scenarios for set pieces to occur within the session
Organization: 1-4-2-3-1 (White) vs 1-3-5-2 (Red), full field.
Conditions of play: Normal Soccer Rules apply. 90-120 seconds of play before coach manipulates play for a set piece to occur of their choice. 2 attempts at said set piece before play will resume.

Physical & Neural Preparation (15 mins)
Objective: To physically and mentally prepare the players for the upcoming session with a focus on mobility and flexibility.
Organization: P1 20x20, 12 cones. P2 4x10 yards away from the center pole, 5 poles (x2)
Phase 1 - Dynamic Warm up to raise the heart rate and to get the muscles warm for the session.
Phase 2 - Mobility exercise (i.e. inch worms) into the middle, then players are on their toes and must react to a shout of 'left/right/backwards' and accelerate to that pole.
