*movement as ball in flight
* selection of surface to use (instep,laces, chest etc)

Mark starting positions with flat markers.
Set up 2 groups, one on each end of pitch.
GK throws/kicks out to 3, who sets up to take a throw-in.
9 makes decoy run as 11 checks out.
3 takes a throw-in into the shaded area for 6 to play short to 11 who has now checked back.
3 gets back in play to receive from 11 and then pass to 5 who has deepened and opened up to play to GK (this could be another player if extras available). GK plays out to 2 who goes long to 9 who has widened . 9 sets for 6 to play wider to 2 who has widened, and finally 2 plays long to 7 who has also now widened. He dribbles thru the gate to complete the move.
R5 plays to his GK, who restarts the play by throwing out to R4
Start next play by GK throwing out to blues.
Do 6 complete plays coaching the following:
*GK distribution - throw, kick from hand, goal kick
* body shape to receive/protect
* movement to rx - esp deepening off
* checking in and out
* use of GK
*team shape as ball moves across
Rotate positions and do another 6 plays, for 20 mins.

Add 2 defenders to chase down the ball in the marked areas.
The blues may use any combination off passes to move the ball.
A progression would be to move the ball from side to side with 2 and 3 taking alternate throws.
Further progression is to add the remaining reds and a GK in the right half and allow free play once ball reaches 7 (or 11). All restarts are throw ins.

Play 4-2-2 each side.
All restarts are throw-ins in defensive third.

15x20 area with fairly wide cone goals. 2 channels.
Teams of 4 or 5.
Players pass the ball by heading to a team mate who must head on or head to himself and then catch.
No running with the ball. No catching unless receiving a team mates header or an opposition mis-header.
If ball touches ground then first to it gets possession.
Score in the cone goals with a header only at any height.
