Session Objective: Switching play (15 min)
A plays dirven ball to B & C plays to D, B plays lofted ball to C & D plays a lofted ball to A, C driven ball to D, D lofted ball to A. Players follow their balls to next station.
Coaching Points: Accuracy, hips open to recieve, first touch/control ball to feet quickly, head on a swivel & up to see target

Organization:
-Half field set up as shown
-Red = 4 Defenders, 4 Midfielders
-Yellow = 3 Midfielders, 1 Attacker
Instructions:
-Red team attempt to dribble through any of the small goals
-Yellow team play back to coach
-Coach starts activity by playing to central defender (4) who then passes to right back (2)
Option 1 (Black lines)
Right midfielder (7) receives from right back (2). Right back (2) receives back from right midfielder (7) and switches play to left midfielder (11)
Option 2 (Green Lines)
Right midfielder (7) receives from right back (2). Holding midfielder (6) receives from right midfielder (7) Holding midfielder (6) passes to left midfielder (11)

Technical exercise I (15 min)
35yds x 40yds grid divided in half. In pairs players must pass right foot only. On coache's command the player without the ball must sprint to the other half to receive the ball from his partner. Passer must join on the other grid. Same on the other grid with left foot only.
Cp's- focus on technique, keep head up to scope space and pressure, toes up/heel down/ankle locked. Focus on passing and moving. Ping the ball on switches
