Focus of this session is shot stopping, handling, and positioning. Looking for keepers to have quick feet to get ready for shot. Looking for keepers to try and hold the ball instead of parry. Also looking for players to be getting set at the right angle.

Technical Positioning (25 mins)
Technical Positioning & Footwork w/ Hold (25 mins)
Footwork to get set
Coach will call out a color
Keeper gets to colored cone as fast as possible then resets to middle of goal
Progressions 1:
Coach calls two colors
Coach Takes shot when player reaches second color

Coach calls two colors
Coach takes shot at each color

Ball set at each angle

Shot, Hold, Distribute, Adjust, Shot Coach will serve a stationary shot from 1 of 5 anglesKeeper will look to catch and hold
Keeper will distribute ball back to coach
Coach will take a touch in a direction for the keeper to adjust and make another save
Progression:
Place balls in all of the different angles
Goalkeeper will make 3 saves in a row
Coach will approach a ball to shoot
Keeper adjusts to the angle and tries to make save
