-Coaching Points-
1.Outside backs receive the ball as wide as possible.
2. Long balls out to wide players should have plenty of pace. (Laces)

Cones set up in a diamond shape so that every pass is at least 20-25 yeards.
Player A plays a ball into player B who opens up and plays to Player C who has dropped back to receive the ball. Player C then takes a few dribbles forward past his starting point and then plays a ball into Player D. The pattern continues. Players follow their pass.
Lines A and C act as wide players receiving the ball and looking forward immediately.
Lines B and D act as midfielders receeiving the ball from one side and then finding the other side.
-Coaching Points-
1. Wide players receive the ball with hips facing forward and takes a positive first touch (forward)
2. Midfield players receive the ball with hips opened up and play the ball wide with pace.
3. Ball played out wide from the midfield should be played in front of the wide player.
