Objective: Create conditions to win the ball or to prevent play forward
What: Address building pressure to prevent opponent from playing forward and regain possession as high as possible on the field
Where: Attacking half
When: Out of possession, we want to dominate making play predictable and creating conditions to win the ball back
Who: All players
Why: #7 start pressure on the player with the ball. # defend space between center backs and goalkeeper. # Take away passing option to opposition #11. #3, #4, #5, Push up defensive line to create compactness vertically. #11 Shift to the side of the ball to create compactness horizontally. #1 push up to defend space behind defensive line.
MP: Build Pressure on the ball
SP: Move as collective unit: make play predictable / Initiate pressure on the opponent with the ball / Engage when chance of regaining the ball / Eliminate passing options / Keep opponent in one side / Protect space in behind: anticipate long ball

Objective: Reducing time and space
What: Address making the field small, reduce the opponent's time, space and options
Where: Defensive half
When: Out of possession in our defensive half we want to have numbers up near the ball to reduce space, time and options
Who: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11

When: In possession in our attacking half we want to create overloads or options to advance the goal and create scoring chances
Who: 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11
Why: #9 moving to a central position to create space for #3 and #11. #7 get wide to be an option to change the point of attack. # exploit space between line. #3 to support the attack
MP: Break lines to advance the attack
SP: Drive the ball to exploit space / Engage: create 2v1 or 1v1 / find player behind or between lines / Switch play: pass the ball to opponent's weak zone

Why: #3 and #11 create width, #8 and #10 playing between lines with optimal distances between them to create offensive balance. #2, #4, #5, #9, and #11 Create Depth
