The objective of this session is to establish more ball familiarity, ball control, space recognition, and ball touches, at this young age, so they can become more and more familiar with the soccer ball on their feet.

TECHNICAL PHASE 1 (30min)
Organization:
Areas of 8yrds wide by 16 yrds long, 3 to 4 players per area.
INTRUCTIONS/PROGRESSION
1 - At the commanmd, the first player will work from from the first cone to the second cone, dribbling (messi style) as soon the get to the first line they will perform a U TURN and turn at the second line before making eye contact with the next player and dribbling back.
2 - Now the players will dribbling from the first line till the third line and back. Now the players will perform a STOP TAP at the second line and a U TURN at the third line, before making eye contact and dribbling back.
3 - The players will perform the same skills from the first progression, yet the turn now is a STOP TURN
4 - Working from first to third player, so they will perform a STOP START at the second lineand a STOP AND TURN at the first line before making eye contact and dribbling back.
COACHING POINTS
1. Keep the head up
2. Keep the soccer ball in front of your body and near to your feet
3. Control your approach to the ball (messi touches( small pink toe)

TECHNICAL PHASE 2 (20min)
Organization :
2 teams, 2 goals, cones, color vests, soccer balls
Instructions:
Red players will pass the ball to the blue player, as soon the blue player touches the ball the red player can defend. The attacker can score in either goal, but must have to dribble the ball outside the cones.
if the defender wins the ball back they can transition and score in either goal as well.
Every 2 goals rotate defenders and attackers.
COACHING POINTS
1. Use your first touch to keep the ball moving
2. Observe the direction of the touch
3. Use your heads up to recognize where the defende and the empty spaces are
4. Recognize of where and when to use a move or a turn.

Description
1 soccer ball for each player
Instructions
Player will follow the coach command and demonstrations:
1. Bounce-Kick-Catch ( the ball will bounce once, so the player foot will get underneath of it so they can kick it up again and catch the ball once in the air)
2.Bouncekick-bounce-kick-catch (As soon the ball bounces the player will kick it up again, wait for the next bounce, kick it up again, and them catch the ball)
COACHING POINTS
1. Lock Ankles
2. Use of both feet
3. Use of the laces to make contact with the soccer ball
4. Getting in the line with the ball
