Session Goals / Objectives: To improve our ability to play out from the back using controlled possession against an hybrid pressing team.

Organization:
- Set up as shown.
- 7v7+2GKs.
Instructions:
- Reds will look to play out from the back when in possession while Blues will look to press aggressively to regain possession and score.
- The exercise starts with the Blue team GK playing into one of the CBs or FBs.
- Reds are looking to break opposition (Blues) pressure and looking to score in any of the three small goals.
- If the Blues are successful in regaining possession, they need to combine and score quickly in Reds large goal within 10 seconds of regaining possession.
- Once a goal is scored by either team, or the Blues don't manage to score within 10 seconds of regaining possession, the play automatically restarts from the Reds GK..
- No one is allowed in the blue zone except the Blues GK, which means that the Reds can only score from outside of the scoring zone.
- Blues GK can use make saves with his hands and feet.
Coaching Points (When playing out):
- Previous coaching points when applicable.
- Controlled possession when looking to playing out from the back.
- Recognizing when to play through pressure or around pressure.
- Recognizing moments to recycle and moments to switch play
Coaching Points (When pressing):
- Previous coaching points when applicable.
- Pressure the player with the ball, cover and balance.
- Make it compact both vertically and horizontally.
- Always press in the identified situations.
- React quickly to pressing triggers.
