Organization:
- 10-12 players. Players to be split into 4 teams of 2v2 or 3v3. The field will be approx. 25x20m.
Activity:
- Players play 2v2 or 3v3 multi-directional chaos game
Coaching Emphasis:
- When could you pass/dribble/shoot?
- Can you scan for space, balls, players?
- Can you make a quick decisions with and without the ball?

- Area approx. 20x15 yards (5 yard "scoring zone")
Activity:
- Play is started by Player A dribbling towards the scoring zone. That player shoots then immediately becomes the defender to oppose the next attacker (Player B). This sequence continues.
Progressions/Variations:
- Take out scoring zone
Coaching Emphasis:
- Good first touch forwards, attack defender at speed, use of moves, changes of speed/directions
- Quick transition from defence to attack
- Accurate finishing

- 4v4/5v5 small-sided game
Coaching Emphasis:
- When to pass/dribble/shoot?
- When other team has the ball, what do we do?
- Focus on kick-ins, goalie kicks and centre line kicks
- Acceleration into space once player makes a move

King/Queen of the Ring (Warm-Up) (10 mins)
Organization:
- All players have a ball each and are placed in a circle approximately 15m in diameter
Activity:
- Players dribble their ball ensuring that the ball is always moving. On coaches command, all players keep their own ball under control while attempting to kick other players' balls out of the circle. If a player's ball is kicked from the circle, they can return after 10 toe taps.
Coaching Emphasis:
- See the ball/see the player
- Change of speed/direction
- Keep head up
- Use all parts of both feet
- FUN
