Method:
Red player passes to Blue who takes it and tries to dribble past Red and
make a pass to next Red Player and game Restarts
Coaching Points:
Move to get into the flight of the pass, receive ball open body position on back foot
good positive first touch, out from feet in direction want to go
assess defender - look up when dribbling
attack defender as pace with close control - small touches
slow down to make manoeuvres to beat opponent - skill, trick speed
timing & execution of manoeuvre
accelerate away in the space created behind the defender
Progression to wall pass

Organisation: remove middle line of cones, drop in 2 small goals
Method: 3 v 2 plus 1, 2 x GKs, team out of possession must keep defender semi-active in their own final 3rd.
Score through small goals
Blue GKs passes out to start attack, Game restarts with either GK playing out, defending team defender stays in zone nearest their goal
(could start without GKs to encourage finishing with shots)
Coaching Points:
Dribbling - look to engage defender, feint pass to create individual space, change of direction
Wall Pass
Receiver awareness to create space
Quality of first pass
Quality of touch to face the defender
Commit Defender
Timing of pass and the timing of run
Angle and speed of pass
Quality of return pass - ba-bam (double click) - one touch
Receive behind defender
Accelerate away in the space behind defender
Progression by removing zone constraint, adapt with constraint of 2 (or 3) touch constraint to encourage wall pass
