Position Specific: Pattern Play incorporating the #2 & #3 to overlap the #7 & #11 for wide play in attack (15 min)
Set Up: 8 cones. Set up starting positions for the #2, #6, #7 #11. Ball starts with #1 & finishes with the #2/#3 crossing into the #9
Coahcing Points: Connect to front foot. Recieve to turn. Make eye contact on passes & crosses. Communicate. Check away/Check in to create space.

#2, #4, #5, #3 Movement as a Unit (15 min)
Set Up: 10 balls played by the Coach
Line works as a unit as the coach plays balls to radom players on the line. Defender attacks balls int he air & plays the ball back to the coach. Coach calls out color of marker, which reresents opponent) for unit to shift into compact Pressure/Cover/Balance postions
Coaching Points: Communication (#4 directs right side/#5 directs left side). Pressure/Cover (As player attacks the lofted ball, players around get into cover positions), Movement as a unit, Body shape should be open/facing the ball-never square, #1 Coach the unit

Finishing in the final 1/3 (15 min)
Set Up: 6 cones. 2 on the end line for starting positions, 4 set up as shown. ball starts at endline where players pass in numerical order & go into the line they played to. shooters retrieve ball & goto endline to serve passes
Coaching Points: Quick/tight touches for quick shots, Finishing over shooting, use of differenct surfaces of the foot. Land on shooting foot to keep shots down

Set Up: 10 cones x 4 stations. Diagional line set up to represent pressure from opposition as #2 or #3 takes a touch toward the sideline. #2 & #3 play balls up the line into the pocket.
Variation: Add pressuring defender to close down creting gamelike situation.
Coaching Points: Arch approach to the ball to get behind the ball when possible. Planted foot close to the ball to wrap in instep aroung the ball, curling the ball into the field.
