Session Objective:

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Set Up: Create four 5x5 boxes in each of the corners of your playing space. Use two teams and neutrals/magic players as needed (i.e. 6v6 +1).
Organization: Four corner possession activity. The team in possession of the ball look to score by timely attacking any of the squares in the corners of the playing area. Once a point is scored in one corner, the team continues to attack by looking to play through another corner. To start, players can dribble into the corner, pass to a teammate inside the corner, or make a through ball to a teammate running into the corner.
Progressions:
- No more dribbling into the corner. To score a point, you must pass to a teammate inside the corner.
Coaching Points:
1) Movement off the ball (timing - can you make a run into space)
2) Decision making (recognizing dead ends; switching point of attack)
3) Awareness of space and opposition (find the open player!).

Set Up: Set up a field for a game and create three equal teams. One team will play as target players on the outside of the field (black shown in the diagram) while the two other teams will play 4v4 on the field (blue and yellow shown in the diagram). Use goalies if available on larger nets, otherwise use mini nets.
Organization: The team in possession must connect at least one pass with a target player on the outside of the field before they can score on either goal. Play 3 min rounds and then rotate the teams.
Progressions:
- Connect two passes with the target players before scoring
- The shot on goal must be taken on the first touch
- King's Court (winner stays on)
Coaching Points:
1) Recognize the moment - if the defending team is organized around one goal, can you attack the opposite side?
2) When do we want to switch the ball? (When there is an open player on the opposite side).
3) "Paint a picture of the field". Know where your teammates are before you receive the ball!

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Set Up: Create even teams. Use the same field set up that was already used to play a regular match.
Organisation: In this match, use all normal game rules. For example, if the ball goes out on the sideline, players can perform a throw-in. Or if the ball goes out on the goal line, perform a goal-kick. This will allow the players opportunity to practice game-realistic scenarios (i.e. throw-ins, corner kicks, freekicks, goal kicks) in a practice match.
Play until the end of practice. Following the game, have a debrief with the players about what they worked on, what they enjoyed, etc!
Coaching Points:
- When is the moment to switch the play
- "Paint a picture of the field" - know where your teammates are before you receive the ball.

Set Up: All players start with a ball expect the designated defenders (blue shown in the diagram). The defenders try to win a ball and dribble it over a side line. An attacker that loses their ball this way, now supports the other attackers to keep as many balls together by being a passing option. How long does it take for the defenders to get rid of all the balls?
Progressions:
- Start with no balls, regular tag. How many players can they tag in 30 seconds?
- Split the group into two teams. Each player has a ball and they work in teams to knock the opposing teams' balls out!
