THE SESSION: Agility
Red player is attacker and white player is defender.
Both players run into central area (change up starting positions: sit, lay back/front, ninja roll) but don't go past the coned line. quick feet on toes to wait for command. Attacker (red) has to explode through the poles to the right or left before the defender can tag them (use two different color cones for gates to run through) start with coach calling color.

Mark out two 25 x 10-yard fields, each with two double goals. If you don’t have enough goals, use poles or cones to mark goals of the proper size. Players are divided into teams of two and take turns playing 2 v 2. Play for 20 minutes with two breaks.

Organization
Set up one small goal and one goal line about 16 yards apart. Two groups of four (attackers and defenders) start at positions behind the goal line. As soon as the first attacker starts dribbling forward, the race begins. The defender tries to win the ball and score on the goal line. Play for 20 minutes with two breaks.

1) Dribble toward it as quickly and directly as possible. 2) As close as necessary to be sure of scoring. 3) Cut across in front, block the defender’s path and shoot. NOTES: Start here at the core activity after the first play phase. If the challenge is too difficult, move to the Less Challenging Activity. If it’s too easy, move to the More Challenging Activity. Spend a total of 30 minutes in the practice phase.

Mark out a regular 4 v 4 field (35 x 25 yards) with two mini goals. Teams play 4 v 4 using the Laws of the Game (LOTG) and according to the standards of play found in the U.S. Soccer Player Development Initiatives (PDIs). Play for 20 minutes including one “halftime” (5 min.).

Toilet Tag (5 mins)
THE SESSION: Toilet Tag
- There will be 1 player tagging the players and another player that is the Lifeguard. When a player is tag it turns into a toilet and the lifeguard has to flush (pull the players hand down) to safe them.
- Depending on number of players you can have 2 taggers.
- 3 rounds
PROGRESSIONS:
1 - The Lifeguard will be the only one to have a ball. The Lifeguard will have to dribble to the player that is tag and he will pass the ball in between the player legs to untagg him/her.
PROGRESSION 2 :
2- All players have a ball except the tagger and the lifeguard. The tagger just has to touch the ball of the players to tag him/her. When player is tag he/she will need to put the ball in front so lifegurd comes and pass the ball in between the legs to safe him/her.
