For the LSG the players will play like a match scenario, but to emphasise breaking lines I will add a point system, every time a goal is scored from a counter attack with a pass that broke lines that will be doubled,
Challenges:
Can you break lines in under 2 passes?
How quickly can you get out of your own half?

Counter attacking play, this will start with the blue team, they will try and attack the red team goal, the reds win the ball back they will quickly spread out and push up the field looking for the line-breaking pass. they will then sprint into the other half to support the player that receives the pass, one player from the team in possession has to stay in their own half to deal with counter attacks that may occur against them, but they are still involved with the play if their team wishes to use them to recycle.
Problem 1:
Lack of chances getting played through the middle
Solution 1:
Use the extra ST to drag defender away creating space for other ST to run into and receive the ball and run to goal.
Problem 2:
Lack of support on the wings
Solution 2:
Midfielders could come across and support the wingers with over lapping and underlapping runs
Problem 3:
Slow transition from defending to attacking
Solution 3:
Spread out to give option. Focus to go wide to drive down the line to get deeper into their half. Crowd the box when the ball is down the wing.
Positioning of players:
CB and GK would sit back for any ball coming back to be recycled
Midfielders would create space for themselves in the middle of the pitch, potentially make runs supporting the wingers
Wingers would stay wide looking to make runs either going down the line or runs into the middle.
The 2 STs hsbe different roles 1 would be either dropping into the midfield to create a 3 in the midfielder and the other would sit in on top of the lone CB dragging them out of position to create space for other players to run in to
