Game related
Aim is to play a penatrating pass from midfield zone through to the forward third. CF movement towards the ball to draw out defender. Only one def mid is allowed to go in and defend in final third.
GK - 1-4-1 formation against a 2-2-2 defending. Offset attacking zone is bigger to allow penetrating passes to be played. GK always starts with the ball and looks for either RM/LM or DM. When on the ball looking to play passes in behind for midfield runners.
Options - 1. RM can drive inside towards CF play a bounce pass and then penetrate in behind for No10's run. 2 - RM drives inside and plays a give and go with CF or for No10 to make a crossover run.
When in possesion looking to use crossover runs/overlaps and give and go's to create movement.

Bedding in
CB plays ball out to RM who dros the ball off to the DLM who dives forward and diagonally with the ball. From there DLM looking to penetrate with a pass in behind the defensive line. CF must stay out to asllow space in behind for midfield runners to run into. Options - Play in No10 who has made a diagonal run with a straight pass. 2 - Ball is played diagonally for RM who has continued his run.
3 - Play into CF feet who bounces it back then can play in No10 or wide midfielder.
Extension - If DLM receives ball from RM then plays it out wide to wide LM who can drive inside and look to penetrate. No10 overlaps outside. Can they play a give & go with CF. or bounce off CF and play penatrating pass in behind for No10 or wide midfielder run.
