Dribbling Moves:
Groups of four with players (with a ball each) about 15 yards from cones.
Players attack the cone
Execute the move given by the coach and the direction
Run the ball into the back of the group to create next wave of attackers
Moves: fake take, fake fake take, circle take, circle circle take, rollover, bish bash, heel flick
Coaching points:
Size of touch
Head position
Distance from the defender

Eyes to the ball

Combination Play:
Groups of six, two players start at cones about 12 yards apart one with the ball, start from rollout with foot and make good pass
Overlap
Player A plays across to player B
Player B moves first touch diagonal and forward
Player A overlaps Player B
Player B reverses ball into Player A's run
Player A plays out to opposite end
Progress to adding individual move from Player B (circle take) before reversing ball

Diagonal and forward first touch
Weight/direction of pass
Receive on back foot

Jail Game:
2 v 1 v 1
Cones, supply of balls
Two lines of players with two defenders.
Stagger cones with ball starting at forward cone and attackers about 10 yards apart
Player A plays across to Player B
Defender 1 runs out and attackers play 2 v 1
Defender cannot recover past yellow line
Defender 2 runs out and attackers again play 2 v 1 and finish with goal
Defender 2 cannot recover past red line
If defender wins the ball or attacker goes outside the zone the two attackers become the defenders
Defenders become attacker and join the back of the line
Run two groups; Progress to adding a goalkeeper at each end (use cone goals, make goalkeeper have to reach ball with ball to encourage use of individual moves -- circle take, rollover)
