Drill Overview: 2v1 in a Wide Area
Setup:
- Area is wider than it is long
- Two attackers vs one defender.
- Objective: attackers work together to beat the defender and score
Coaching Points:
Attackers:
- Draw the defender out: Ball carrier should engage the defender to create space.
- Receiver movement:
- Make an angle ahead of the ball to receive in stride.
