Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Skills Camp Relay Race(Dribbling or Turning)

Screen 1 (20 mins)

Organization:

3 groups with 3 cones in front of each group.

Each group has one ball.

One mini goal on the side of each group.

Instructions:

Relay race between each team.

Each player has to dribble out to a specific cone, perform a turn(any kind or specific one), and pass it to the next player in line.

Last person in line has to perform the turn and score on the goal.

First team to score wins the race.

Coaching Points:

Dribble at speed.

Slow down once you reach the cone with good control on the ball.

Head up before finishing.

Have Fun.

Progressions/Regressions:

Add a defender from other groups that defends the players after they turn.
