What: Provide structure and clear intentionallity to our pressure.
When: When Out of Possession, especially during open game (but transferrable to any moment of the game when out of possession).
Where: Our Attacking Half of the field (but also transferrable to the Defensive Half of the field).
Who: All the players: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Defenders (Primary Players), Defenders away from the zone of pressure are also essential.
Why: To avoid disorganized pressure. With the intention of increasing our options of winning the ball back by performing an structured and organized pressure.

Organization and Instructions:
Half the Field.

Attacking Team (Red): Tries to score in one small net. Sides: 1 point. Center: 3 points.
Defending Team (Blue): Tries to win the ball back and score, 1 point.
Intentions:
(1) Force opponent team out.
(2) Isolate Even Numbers.
- Forward creates isolation (avoiding pass back to the GK and opposite side DEF.
- Identify Weak Side and Strong Side of Pressure.
- Wing on the Weak Side cover Forward mark.
- Wing-Back on Weak Side helps inside man marking.
- Center-Mid Weak Side provides support to defensive line.
Coaching Points/Questions:
- Defensive prioritized behaviors: Avoid open shots, force opponent to play outside and try to isolate players there, force opponent to finish from difficult angles.
- Transitional behaviors: quick reaction after loss according to the shape/structure (2 players closest to the zone of loss, agressive and quick pressure).

- Improve effective communication.

Organization and Instructions:
Half the Field (as above).
5v5+2 neutrals + 2 players on wait.
- Game starts in the central square 30x30yd area. Once one of the team completed 5 pass, they are allowed to attack. First step (mandatory), connect with one of the Wing-Backs on the side channels. Once connection is made, the defender of that player is also released starting from the opposite end of the shaded area.
- If defensive team wins the ball back, they try to score.
(1 goal, 1 point).
