Overload SSG
Overload SSG. 7v7 plus 2.
Red team starts with possesion. The objective is create 2v1, 3v1, or any combination of an overload. Isolate a defender and attack the goal. The team can achieve this by switching the point of attack and looking for the backside defender. Players in possession should shift their formation to create an overload where ever the pass goes. There should always be an advantage by utilizing off ball movement.
Yellow team should defend and stay patient, they should recognize the overload and move to try to break it. If they gain posession they are to do the same as the read team. Create overloads and attack the goal. Wides are neutrals and can be played as much as possible. Limit touches to force speed of play and force players to have the correct body position when receiving the ball.
