Activity 1.1 (15 mins)
Progress to scoring point only counts for black team if breaking player starts behind the ball. So it is not just playing vertically, but encouraging deep run from supporting player.
Play 3x5 minute rounds, changing roles and reminding of key points from previous diagram.

Activity 2 (35 mins)
6v5 (+gk) in half 7v7 field. Black team has number advantage.
Orientation
Aim is for black team to attack and score on big goal. White team have counter goals on sides. Adjust numbers as needed to make challenging for black team, so extra defender if needed for white team.
Initially work with white team to match up with central midfield three of black team, possibly even man marking black team midfield three. Aim to limit space and have high pressure on black team in central areas.
Learning
Work closer with black team now, looking at ways to free up a midfield runner (ideally #8, #10)
In example, make sure #7 and #11 stretch game so more space might be centrally, looking for #8 to be aware of space ahead of them to make blind side, deeper run into final third. #9 movement draws opposing #5 out creating space down the middle.
By having wide counter goals for white team, possibility in transition that they are now open and spaces for central midfield runners will also happen.
Key points for black team are as always quality of the play under pressure from #6, #10, #8 especially, but looking for brief window of opportunity to play forward and for one of the #8 or #10 to be aggressive in getting ahead of the ball and adding numbers to the attack.
Play 4x7 minute rounds, giving time for drink break and direct instruction for black team. Also some coaching as play is ongoing to encourage #8 to take risk and push forward.

Activity 3 (15 minutes)
Implementation
Set up as normal scrimmage with even numbers on full 7v7 field, so now opportunities for both teams to execute ideas introduced.
Scoring is conditioned, so can score in big goal as normal FIFA rules, but also in end zone if run is made from behind the ball in build up to promote desired outcomes of running from deep.
Play 2x7 minute rounds. Keep score for all rounds.
Important to stress for players that timing of runs are important, and if run is made but ball doesn't arrive, must recycle movements quickly back into team shape to give balance.
End session with 15 minute free play scrimmage without conditions. Looking for players to recognize moments to get ahead of the ball.

Activity 1 (10 mins)
3v2 in 20x20 area.
Black team aim to get across either end line with possession. Point must be scored by a player breaking into end zone and receiving under control.
When this happens, immediately transition and attack other end line, so can be continuous play/possession.
White team regain ball and dribble to either end zone for a point.
Play 3x3 minute rounds, changing roles and reminding of key points (weight of pass, recognizing space to make run in to, communication needed on attacking run)
