For this week we will work on passing combinations in order to move the ball forward through the 3 lines. Those 3 lines being defense, midfield and forward. It is important for each player to recognize multiple options of penetration and their roles while in possession of the ball.
the options will be based on the principles of play for creating space.
Option A Length

Players will familiarize themselves with the following soccer dribbling foundations *FALCAO using the sole of his foot start & stop and to maneuver the ball all different directions even to pass*RICARDINIHO with speed and precision using moves with multiple surfaces of the foot to create space for the end product
*GARNIER the freestyle skill master using moves both aerial and ground
-Quality of technique
MVP system
-individuals who demonstrate listening skills-effort-technial prowess -positive attitude -will be awarded an MVP point
the player with the most MVP points wins the MVP award at the end of practice

Organization
split field in 2 channels
-4-6 players in each channel
-1 soccer ball per channel
Instructions
Stage 1
1. Player B starts in front of player C and runs into the middle (red
arrow shows movement) checks one way and then moves the
opposite way to the cone
2. Player A plays the pass into player B
3. Player C will say TURN! to player B
4. Player B now opens up and plays the pass into player C and
rotates to the opposite line he came from to now stand behind
player A
5. Player A will now run to the middle and start off a new rotation
receiving the ball from player C
Stage 2
1. Player B starts in front of player C and runs into the middle (red
arrow shows movement) checks one way and then opens up to a side
2. Player C will say MAN ON!/PLAYER ON to player B
3. Player A plays the pass into player B
4. Player B plays the ball back to player A into space weighted so player A can one time it to players C
5. Player B will rotate behind player A
6. Player A will now make a run into the center and start the process again but now starting from player C who has the ball from the last

Instructions
Scenario 1 :Building out from the first line defense, midfield,
forward
part 1
- 3 players will start in a position on 1 of the 3 lines defence
midfield and forward
-one defender will start on the middle line behind player 2
-player 1 will start the game with wall pass into the defender when
player1 receives it back the game goes live
-player 1 must try to find the best option to get the ball to player 3
without the defender intercepting the ball
- if the defender wins the ball they can dribble back to the start line
transitioning for a point
-defender stays the same for 3 games then swaps out
-player rotation 1 moves to position 2 & 2 moves to position 3 & 3 moves to position 1or back of the line if players are waiting.

- team must set themselves with 3 lines of attack defense- midfield- forward
-observe game and let players make decisions
-if necessary step in and guide players on when to dribble, pass or shoot
-most importantly naturally enforce topic that was practiced on today's session

passing pairs (10 mins)

Instructions
Part 1:
1. pairs have 1 ball each and must pass and move around the field
2. each pair will have a number designated by coach
3. coach can demand certain passing combinations from pairs such as wall pass, 1-2, through ball or overlap etc
4. make it into a competition first pair to combine 20 passes will say EVERTON!
Part 2:
1. Players will combine with each other constantly moving their ball around.
2. Coach will shout a number
3. Whichever number(s) were called they become defensive players who must win ball and attempt to score on any pug goal
4. team to keep ball for 30 seconds will gain 1 MVP points each.
