Keepers will be alternating in goal and serving high balls.
Keepers will start off 6yds off goal line facing the server, as they catch high ball keepers will send ball back to server then shuffle back to goal and face a shot. Keepers will alternate in front of one another when facing shot to simulate obstructions.
Split groups as evenly as possible using two goals if necessary. 4-5 Reps then switch keeper/server role.
Coaches can shoot to goal, If uneven or too many keepers extra keepers can shoot instead.
Coaching Points:
- Remind keepers to send ball back to server with proper technique and with accuracy.
- Keepers should be shuffling back into goal facing the shooter and NOT turning back towards field.

Crosses will be coming in from both sides alternating. Keepers will be competing in teams of 2-3.
Goals shouldn't be more than 20yrds from each other. this is a game like scenario and will help keepers deal with pressure and traffic in the box. This will help keepers read aerial balls and determine when to come attack the ball or sit in line waiting for a shot. At least one coach should be in or near the box to guide, act as official and provide feedback. If keepers are serving crosses, they can do so by working on distribution methods, ie: punts, throws, goal kicks.
Coaching Points:
- Remind keepers to be vocal and loud to prevent collision.
- Keepers should be going up in the air with a knee up to protect their body.
- Make sure crosses are coming in at a steady pace one after another so keepers don't have too much time to over think.
Rules:
- Any keeper can come in for the cross.
- Once cross is caught, defending keepers will need to shuffle back in goal to face shot.
- Attacking Keepers have 6 seconds to take shot.
- if defending keepers catch the incoming shot, they will have 6 seconds to score
- Keepers can score by Throw, Punt, or deflecting(punching, heading, parrying) cross into opposing goal.
- If keeper attempts to catch a cross and they drop it, is up for grabs.
- (optional for advanced keepers) If keeper attempts to catch and they drop the ball deduct one point from team.

Goalkeepers will be activating muscle groups necessary for jumping, and feet shuffle around obstacles.
Hand-eye coordination and proper catching technique are to be emphasized as this first phase progresses to help measure ball trajectory and aim for catching at highest point possible.
Serves can be done by coaches or keepers as long as they keep tempo and prevent having a keeper come to a stop and wait for a catch.
