End Zone SSG

  • Player to receive a pass in the end zone, not allowed to stand in the end zone to receive a pass.
  • Defenders are not allowed to drop into the end zone until the ball is played there.
  • If you score you start with possession from your end zone
Coaching Points:
  • Width and depth in the zone to play through
  • Rotations off the ball to create space and move opposition
  • Receiving facing forward
  • timing of forward runs into end zones


Progressions:
  • 1: If assist played first time, point worth double
  • 2: If you score, ends are flipped, you then defend the zone you attacked
