Method: 4 men on the outside act as wall men, 5v5+1 in the middle, and 2v1 in the target zone. Aim is for the attacking team to establish good quality possession and eventually play into the target zone. If defending team win the ball back, the should look to play forward quickly into the zone, whereas the attacking team should react and look to prevent this.
Coaching Points: High tempo in attack and transition, press and cover, communication, press together as a unit, establish triggers to press, transition quickly.

Method: Aim is for attacking team (blue) to play through the thirds from one end of the pitch to the other to score by playing into end man. Ball must be played into next zone, so no long passes allowed ot begin with - one player can leave their zone and move into next one to create overloads. If the ball is won back by the defending team, they must make 2 passes in the zone that they've won the ball before transferring into the next zone - if they do this successfully they will be awarded a goal.
Coaching Points: cut off options when defending - support the press and anticipate how to win the ball back.positive pressing-aggressive-press and cover, quick reactions/transitions

Method: 9v9 game, 1-4-3-1 V 1-2-3-3 formation with focus on implementing principles of the session as well as continuation of attacking methods. In possession, team should use full width of the pitch when building the play, with central midfielders stretching play and creating space for cb to drive into when building from the back. When ball is lost transition quickly, with nearest man pressing the ball and focus on recovery/delayed runs.
Coaching Points: press immediately when possession is lost, recovery runs from full backs or attacking midfielders, midfield 3 go flat in transition and move together from side to side, if full back presses, remainder of the defensive unit shift across.

4v2 rondo
Method: 4v2 rondo to begin with, if defenders win the ball back, attackers must react quickly to transition to defend and stop defenders dribbling ball to outside the grid. Progress to 4v2 and transfer to opposite grid. If defenders win the ball back, the should look to play ball into man between grids, whereas attacking team should transition quickly again to win the ball back.
Coaching Points: quick reaction in transition, positive press - be willing to work hard, cut off options - guide the oppositions next pass.
