9v9 SSG (10 mins)
SSG / Out of Possession- Defending the overload when the opposition have a numerical advantage.
Organisation / Area Size
Full size goal opposite other goal 10 yards past halfway line.
How-
The BLUE team(coached team) will look to defending the overload. create and exploit overloads before scoring, while the RED team (managed team) create and exploit overloads
The SSG will reflect the 11v11 game restarts like throw ins and goal kicks will be taken as normal to add an element of realism to the practice
Conditions Challenges & Targets-
Condition- Players can move freely wherever they like within the boundaries set by the coaches.
Challenge- BLUE team to create overloads on the attacking 3rd by committing players forward.
Challenge- Reds to shoot within 8 seconds (countdown) if they are keeping possession comfortably
Target If the BLUE create an overload somewhere in the Attacking 3rd and then score within 5 seconds of creating the overload = 3 goals otherwise just 1 goal for normally scoring.
RED team to score however they like in blues goal.

Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
- Complete 5 passes in the box, then break out to attack 5v3.
- once attack is finished, attackers given 3 seconds before the new ball is played in to the other team. Allow intensity of the session to be high.
- every goal scored is a point for that team, every ball won and cleared is a point for defenders.
