Opportunity to improve retaining possession by securing the first an second passes when possession has been won in our defensive half of the field to enable us to build up play in a structured manner and to also prevent the opposition of regaining possession close to our goal

Organisation
-14 Players + GK
-Field size, width-40m x length-30m
-Field split into 2 grids as per diagram
-7 v 7+ 2 end bouncers
-Both grids always start with 4 v 3
-Balls with the coach and the GK (bouncers) at both ends-Directional
Explanation/Progression
-Either Bouncer to start play
-Red team play to one direction
-Yellow team to play in the opposite direction
-Play starts with a Bouncer who plays into either of their back four players
-Must make at least 2 passes before playing into the front grid
-Defending team are passive
-On the coaches command team in possession to play a pass to a player in the other team and to immediately press (passive)
-Once team has received possession from the other team to make at least 2 short passes before playing into the opposite end bouncer
-Every 3 mins stop and perform dynamic stretches for 45 seconds
-Quicker player movement and ball movement after each stretch

-2 balls going at once
-3 touch max
Progression 2
-1 player from the back grid can carry the ball into the front grid (If a team mate carries the ball into the front grid 1 player must move into the back grid)
-2 touch max

Positioning Game
Organisation

-Can not carry the ball into the next grid
-Once play reaches the opposite end bouncer teams to change roles and re-group with the other team to play in the opposite direction
-Rotate bouncers every 3 mins

-Team in possession can pass the ball or carry the ball into the next grid (If a team mate carries the ball into the front grid 1 player must move into the back grid)

-Multi Directional (make the grid one whole grid)
-To score play from one end bouncer to the opposite end bouncer back to the original end bouncer

-When GK receives possession 2 and 5 immediately move wide (touchline) to create space, 3 and 4 immediately move wide (edge of penalty area), 6 immediately move slightly in front of and in between the 3 and 4, 8 and 10 to move slightly high and split (in line with the 3 and 4) to create space for the back four to play out and options forward to play to
-When 2 is in possession, GK to immediately move towards the 2 to support from behind, 3 to immediately move towards the 2 to support from inside, 7 to immediately move towards the 2 to support from in front, 6 or 8 (closest player) to immediately move towards the 2 to support from inside
-When the 3 is in possession, GK to immediately move towards the 3 to support from behind, 2 to immediately move towards the 3 to support from one side, 4 to immediately move towards the 3 to support from the other side, 6 or 8 (closest player) to immediately move towards the 3 to support from in front
