Set-up:
4 Zones at 7 Steps deep by 15 steps wide. 3 Players per zone alternating teams as shown in the diagram. Set of balls with the coach in the middle as shown.
Instructions:
1) Coach will play a ball into any of the 4 zones. The zone that gets the ball moves the ball within their 3 while attempting to beat the three defenders in the immediate next zone to get the ball across to their opposite teammates in the next zone. Team gets a point if they get the ball to their teammates and play continues.
2) Upon winning the ball in the defensive zone, the team becomes the new attacking team and attempts to split to their teammates in same color as well.
Coaching Points:
a) 3 ways to beat the defense, through (split), over (chip), around
b) Body shape to score (play forward)
c) Quick ball movement to move the defense
d) one touch pass to beat at the quickest moments

Next Phase:
1) Coach will put a ball into Zone A or C now. Players in Zone A or C attempt to get the ball to Zone B or D and back.
2) If the original Zone A or C gets the ball back (Pass 1 and 2 completed), they now player 3v3 to goal using both zones until a goal is scored or the defensive team gets the ball back to their middle zone.
3) Point for a goal.

Set-up:
Even numbers final game based on your training numbers with full goals, GKs and 2 targets (1 if you are low in numbers)
Instructions:
1) Play even numbers game where a goal is a point and a goal that comes from bouncing off of a target is 2 points.

Chase Rondo Version 1
Set-up:
6 10x10 yard grids as shown in two rows of three. 2 teams of 6-7 players arranged in a 4v2 or 5v2 rondo opposite corners to start as shown.
Instructions:
1) Players start on the coaches signal and attempt to connect 8 passes without losing the ball. If a team connects 8 passes, they move counter clockwise to the next box and try to connect 8 passes again.
2) If the defenders knock the ball out, the attacking group grabs another ball and starts over.
3) Teams are racing to catch the other team ahead of them. Once a team catches the other team, the point goes to them.
