ATTACKING: Scan. Move to space. adjust body to receive with foot furthest from defender. Play.
DEFENDING: Nearest BC: Approach fast, arrive slow at an angle. Delay. The rest protect the space behind.
When do the players recognize the action?
ATTACKING CUES: Move away from BC and defenders
DEFENDING CUES: When the ball moves scan then shift

Restrictions: From two touch to one touch
Cycles: 9 cycles; one minute each
Scoring:
ATTACK: Point for every five consecutive passes
DEFEND: Point for every disruption
Game Description: Pentagon rondo. The middle man should be a 6, 8, or 10. Can play through or around, but not over. Directional play from the bottom to top and top to bottom. The bottom players are CB’s. The wide players are OB’s. The top play is a CM.

ATTACKING: Scan. When receiving the ball adjust body to receive with foot furthest from defender, Play. When off the ball, the sixes scan and drop into space. DEFENDING: Nearest BC: Approach fast, arrive slow at an angle. Delay. Bad touch, bad pass or pass back pressure. Furthest BC: Scan. Drop into space to protect the space behind. The group must communicate.
When do the players recognize the action?
ATTACKING CUES: Move away from BC into space away from the defender.
DEFENDING CUES: Nearest delays ball. Furtherest drops into space.

Cycles: 5 cycles; 5 minutes each
Scoring:
ATTACK: Point for every completed pass to target
DEFEND: Point for every disruption
Game Description: 6 v 6 game. The small goals are targets (ACM’s) The boxes are are three yard buffer. The defenders can not enter into the buffer to prevent man marking a small goal. They key is for them to protect that space by working together as a group. Scan and communicate.
