Screen 1 (20 mins)

Method: Warm Up, square area with 10 Red players on the outside serving the 10 Blue players in the square, Blue team are working for 2 mins at a time, after 2 mins they will replace the Red team on the outside, now the Blue team become the servers. They will swap out 5 times, the team working in the square will receive a number of serves, Blue team are working for 2 mins on a drill and then swopping out with the Blue team doing the same drill for 2 mins and so on. the will happen 5 times for both Teams 1. A 5 yard pass. 2. Heading. 3 Chest & Volley. 4. 2 touch serving the knee first & volley back into servers hands with the ball dropping. 5. Half volley. After you are served during each drill, you turn at 3/4 pace to the next server, condition - you cannot go to the server on the right or left hand side of the person that you received the drill from.

Coaching Points: Communications, call the persons name that you are receiving the ball from, Good Quality serves from the servers on the outside. Demand high standards, Avoid each other when you are crossing from one server to another get your timing right. Make it competitive & punish poor standards with an exercise at the end of each Drill. Work hard for the 2 mins.

Screen 2 (20 mins)

Method: Player 8 passes to player 6, who plays to player 2, who switches the ball through the other side where player 3 is running out wide to cross the ball for player 9 to finish and score past the GK. Players return back & look to carry on the same sequance but this time look to switch the ball from the other side to player 2 side this time.

Coaching Points:Good quality passing, understand that we need to switch the play from one side to the other.Two touch passing. Try and see can our FB's pass in between the cones to make it easier for the wide player to come onto the ball. Good weight on the pass. Once player 9 finishes the move, set up quickly.

Method:Player 4 is on the ball and looking to play down the line, we have asked over wide players 7 & 11 to max the width of the pitch, we have asked our player 9 to make a movement closer to player 7. This will force the opposition CB's & FB's to move closure to the righthand side of the Box. This will trigger our player 4 to switch the play to the lefthand side to player 11. As the ball is travelling Player 3 is an option for an overlap with player 11, we have player 9 & 7 working hard to get into the box, if the quality of the pass is good from player 11, then player 9 is there to finish based the GK, if the pass is too strong our player 9 is not in on time, then we have player 7 coming in at the back post to Finish as well. player 10 & 8 are positioning themselves at the edge of the box to pick up anything that break. Again repeat this from the other side starting with player 5, looking to switch to player 7.

Coaching Points: Really important every player understand the role once the switch is made and work hard to get into the good positions to score. Player 4 need to delivery a good cross field ball. player 6 needs to be aware if the switch is under hit or intercepted that he is there to cover the break.Good quality passing & movement. Good communication and understanding.Good crossing & finishing.

Method:11 V 11, Blue 1-4-3-3 Vs Red 1-4-1-3-2

Gk start the game and plays right sided CB, Player 4 looks to play down the righthand side, player 11 stays wide on the lefthand side touchline. Player 4 switches the play, while the ball is travelling this triggers for all our player to move quick into an attacking position, Players 9,7 & 10 are working to get into the box, player 8 is looking to get to the edge of the box. Now it needs a good delivery from player 4, good first touch forward from player 11, followed by a good quality pass with pace across the penalty box for incoming players.

Coaching Points: Good understanding and movement once the switch is made. Good communication. Good Quailty delivery from Player 4 & 11. Good first forward touch & pass from player 11. Players working hard to get into position to finish passed the GK & score. We can repeat this movement starting from player 5 and playing it to the righthand side to player 7
